Jeffrey M. Koewler

Partner—Corporate Law

Jeff Koewler assists clients throughout the United States by providing clients with general business advice and representing clients in significant transactions.

He serves as outside general counsel to over 50 companies, ranging from small, innovative start-up companies to major institutional investors. In this role, Jeff deals with numerous issues which most businesses typically face and has fashioned solutions based on his experience with issues.

The other part of Jeff’s practice is to represent clients in connection with transactions. These transactions include mergers and acquisitions, equity financings (start-up financing and follow-on financing), loan transactions (borrower and lender clients), and joint ventures. Jeff has represented clients in over 200 transactions and represented parties on both sides of these transactions. Jeff prides himself on finding client-favorable solutions to issues that inevitably arise in transactions.

Jeff has served on numerous community based boards over the past 25 years. He is dedicated to providing his time and expertise to nonprofit organizations which work to make the Sacramento region a better place to live and work.
