Jeff Koewler supports clients throughout the United States with general business counsel and representation in significant transactions. Jeff serves as outside general counsel to over 50 companies ranging from small, innovative start-up companies to major institutional investors. In this role, Jeff helps businesses navigate routine business matters as well as more complex legal conflicts, shaping solutions based on decades of relevant experience.

In addition, Jeff represents clients in transaction matters. These include mergers and acquisitions, equity financing (start-up and follow-on financing), loan transactions (borrower and lender clients) and joint ventures. Jeff has represented clients on both sides of over 200 transactions. He takes pride in devising client-favorable solutions to the wide range of issues that transactions inevitably entail.

Jeff has served on numerous community-based boards over the past 25 years. He is dedicated to providing his time and expertise to nonprofit organizations whose missions make the Sacramento region a better place to live and work.
