Tatum Kennedy is a member of the firm’s corporate law, commercial real estate, litigation, intellectual property and privacy practice groups, assisting business clients in all stages of business and real estate transactions.

From formation and intellectual property matters to day-to-day governance to mergers and acquisitions and real property lease and sale contracts, Tatum brings a practical approach to each situation. She strategically resolves legal and practical matters with individualized attention to ensure clients’ goals are realized.

Tatum attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she graduated with great distinction and honors and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Tatum was primary comment editor and staff writer at The University of the Pacific Law Review.

Outside the firm, Tatum can often be found spending time in Tahoe, traveling and watching Alabama football.

  • Assisted in representing a services business in the sale of its assets.
  • Assisted in representing real property owners in structuring and financing of property owner’s real property.
  • Advises clients on corporate formalities, governance, and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Advises non-profit corporations on corporate compliance, including redrafting organizational documents in compliance with non-profit regulations.
  • Represents landlords in commercial leases for office buildings throughout California, including acting as assistant counsel for drafting lease documents.
