Vanessa Raven works in the family law department focusing on divorce, custody, support, domestic violence and other family-related litigation, as well as in the civil litigation department assisting public, private, and non-profit entities in various litigation matters.  

Vanessa relies on extensive civil litigation experience to assist clients in both family and civil matters.

Vanessa has served as a board member of Women Lawyers of Sacramento since 2014.  She is also a member of California Women Lawyers, the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada, and the Sacramento County Bar Association. She has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star and as one of San Francisco Magazine’s Top Young Women Attorneys (2021-2022).

Prior to joining Delfino Madden, Vanessa successfully represented physicians, acute care hospitals, and senior care facilities in both civil litigation and administrative licensing matters. She has successfully first chaired an administrative bench trial and has second chaired two civil cases to jury verdict.

Delfino Madden’s family law practice is sensitive to the privacy of our clients, which prevents our sharing specific case results.
